4 sets of ratings including my own are used and I have noticed when adding the ratings together if a horse comes out well clear of the next that they place at a very high strike rate...around 70%.

Recommended staking is 10% of the bank each time......adjust the bank after each result. Considering the system will produce a strike rate this is a fairly safe stake....although some followers may be more comfortable with 5% of the bank. When on a winning run we are "pressing up" and stakes increase and the compounding effect boosts the profit....when on a losing run we are actually staking less and less. To lose 50% of the bank would take around 8 losers in a row or in a short period.

Here's a simple example where all returns are at 1.5 (0.5/1) starting with a 1000 bank betting 10% of the bank adjusting after each result.
