What does Calcodds do?
Calcodds is an automated system where they calculate the true mathematical odds for any named horse to place.  This is assuming, of course, that the Betfair win odds are correct in the first place. Using live Betfair API feeds Calcodds calculate the odds second by second. Calcodds odds are then displayed side by side with the odds currently available on Betfair. If there are any discrepancies they will clearly be shown for all to see. Calcodds computers will automatically indicate what the percentage error, or discrepancy, is on each horse in every race. The new Calcodds service will concentrate on UK and Irish racing for the first few months but will hopefully add  Australian and US racing to their service at a later date.
