About the LayTheFavourite System

The LayTheFavourite System is almost a complete reversal of the RatingsBlotSystem rules. 4 sets of ratings including my own are used.

Only horses that are forecast favourite in the Racing Post tissue at 7/2 or under are considered. The system pinpoints what it considers to be "false" forecast favourites and we then lay them on the exchanges.

Suggested staking is to risk 10% of a betting bank on each one, adjusting the bank after each result similar to the RatingsBlotSystem. So when we are on a winning run we are "pressing up" and after a loser we actually risk less on the next lay.

Recommended staking is 10% of the bank which is fairly aggressive and some followers would be more comfortable risking maybe 5%. So if the bank was say 600 and you were laying to risk 10%, 60 and the price you were laying at was 4.0 (3/1), you would lay 20 at 4.0 so risking 60 to win 20.

Extra Information

Results are posted on the results page starting with a 1000 bank on January 1st 2007 and prices shown are StaringPrices +10%. This is a very fair way to publish results unlike other sites that publish lay results at SP! as it's fact that on many occasions we can lay well below the SP as many of the lays drift in price and also we can use the lay+back technique to further reduce average price matched. This means followers of the system should be actually achieving far better returns than are shown in the onsite results!

LayTheFavourite qualifiers are available to subscribers on the site and are also posted by email by 12.00 UK time daily.

Remember this is a system for horses to LAY on the win market.
